PLC Programmer

PLC Programmer- Responsible for design, programming of the projects from design to commission of project.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare control architecture and discuss with senior for approval.
Preparation of DAP drawings for customer submission as per schedule.
Getting work done from team.
Work allocation and monitoring the output.
Release electrical bought outs and control panel within budgeted cost and within defined schedule.
Guide programmers for preparing program and maintain the programming standard as per customer standards.
Getting the programming done from the team in time. Offline programming checking and keep ready before the trials.
Create and review design and architecture specifications, and interface specifications.
To interact with Mechanical Design Department to understand system.
Resolve issues related to BOM with purchase/shop if any during project phase.
Reporting Head-electrical design about work progress on daily & weekly basis.

Additional Responsibility

To correspond with Electrical bought out Item manufacturer for collecting catalogues / Technical information / quotation.
To interact with Purchase Department for getting quotations / latest landed cost of electrical bought out items as require for estimation and costing.
To maintain programming standard and develop standard programs.
To maintain and keep record of all electrical drawing project data.

Key skills and experience required.

Electrical Engineering graduates with sound engineering knowledge with experience of 6- 8 years.
Required software – Mitsubishi, Siemens, AB, AutoCAD & E-plan.
To manage team of 4~5 designers.
