overview
Power and free conveyors use a continuous loop of drop forged rivet less chain to move loads. These power and free conveyor systems feature a specialized track design that pairs a powered chain track with a non-powered trolley track. The free trolleys have pivoting mechanisms, triggered by adjacent trolleys or devices, enabling engagement or disengagement with the powered chain. This setup allows for flexible operations, including accumulation of product carriers as needed. Power and free conveyors are divided into two types: Inverted Power and Free (IPF), which runs along the floor, and Overhead Power and Free (OPF), which is suspended from above. We offer the following Power and Free conveyors:
-
Overhead:
- 3-3-3 OH
- AM2i OH
- AM3i OH
- BPOH150 OH
Inverted:
- BPIVA60 FL
how it works
Power & free conveyor system merge the reliability of trolley chain conveyors with the adaptability of gravity systems, enabling precise control over carriers for starting, stopping, accumulating, and changing routes or speeds on demand. This system's design flexibility supports both current and future production needs, allowing for easy expansion and adaptation. It facilitates direct interaction with production processes and personnel, enhancing efficiency in both simple tasks like product unloading and complex operations involving automated manufacturing cells. With options for inverted and overhead configurations, power & free overhead conveyor system are known for their proven reliability and versatility in diverse applications.
